6yo Mare
Red Wine Supernova (IRE)

October Hill is a gorgeous six-year-old mare who has now run twice since we bought her and finished placed on both occasions. Fourth in a mares listed hurdle on debut and then a good third in a novice event at Taunton last time. We have set up a small partnership and have two quarter shares available in her. A quarter share is £10,000 + VAT to include all training fees until the end of the 2025/26 National Hunt Season. If you purchase now, you will get a share of the prize money she has already won so you are off to a great start already!

October Hill is a brown mare by Berkshire out of a Presenting mare who was unraced but she has bred winners. Trained by Colin Bowe in Ireland who we have bought well from many times, he says she is, “A really likeable, consistent straight forward filly who has been a model of consistency all summer. Placed on all her hurdle starts she is a winner in waiting. She has a hurdle rating of 100, which seems a very workable mark on her maiden form. She is a strong, scopey filly and an excellent jumper of a fence who will give connections plenty of options for the future."

2025 was her first year to have raced and while unplaced in a couple of Irish point to points she has now been placed in all six of her starts over hurdles and has improved with every run. She has a handicap mark off 109 but is yet to run in a handicap so there should be plenty of fun to be had with her going forwards. She is 16.2hh and will jumps a fence in time and she has a likeable attitude. She seems to handle any ground and will be running again soon so get involved for some instant racecourse action!

5yo Mare
Follow The Plan

Follow the Plan is a five-year-old bay mare by Dartmouth who recently with us from Ireland. She has had just the two starts in Irish point to points and finished a close third at Ballycrystal just before Christmas. She is 16.2hh and has plenty of size and scope and was recommended to me by the trainer who sold us Gentleman Toboot as a lovely mare who will win races at a sensible price! While we haven’t done a lot with her as yet, she seems to have a nice nature and hasn’t left a nut which we always like! She has the added bonus of being GBB qualified which means there will be extra prize money to be won on the racecourse through this scheme which makes her evening more appealing to be her owner! She is for sale for £25,000 + VAT so if you would like any more details please do get in touch.

Kernie d'Airy
5-year-old mare by It's Gino. 10% buy in at £25k inclusive of training fees for the year.

Kernie d'Airy is a 5-year-old mare by It's Gino (the sire of our Hennessey winner, and obviously Sir Gino), she is out of a mare who won over fences and in a cross-country race in France. A half-sister to a couple of winners, she bolted up on her debut in France. The form has all worked out well, and she looked very smart in her homework. However, it didn’t happen for her on debut in the UK, but as with all these French horses, she just needed time. She has come back in from the field looking like a monster, and she really could be very smart. She’ll go novice hurdling this season.

Centauri Star

Centauri Star is a 4-year-old chestnut gelding by Diamond Boy (the sire of multiple Grade 1 winners including L'Homme Presse and Impaire Et Passe). He is out of a winning French dam and a is the brother of the five-time winner and Grade 2 winner, Lambro and winners Press Conference and Captain Bocelli. Despite unseating his rider at the 3rd fence on his debut, Centauri Star put in a lovely performance 3 weeks later when only beaten 4 lengths into 2nd in a maiden at Lingstown and achieved a high rating.

Inishbofin
Maxios x Kendon (Yeats)

Inishbofin is a 4yo gelding by Maxios and an Irish maiden winner on his second start for Sam Curling in the fastest time of the day. I bought him at the Tattersalls May Point-to-Point Sale.

He has had a lovely summer break here at Webb Hill Farm and is back in and ready to go.

P2P.ie said the following:

‘Inishbofin stepped forwards from his fourth-placed debut effort behind Ballycommon Boy at Dromahane last month by leading from two out with Derek O’Connor to valiantly beat promising newcomer Spring Getaway.

Inishbofin had the benefit of a previous run when coming fourth, beaten just over seven lengths, to Ballycommon Boy in a vintage Dromahane contest last month and the son of Maxios was held up close to the pace in this truly-run contest. Whilst having to be pushed along briefly approaching three out, this early May foal led narrowly from two out and he asserted in the closing stages to oblige by one and a half lengths in a race that saw some five and a half lengths cover the first four home. A chasing type that was a E36,000 foal purchase and that is out of a half-sister to Grade 2 Novice chase winning mare Scarlet And Dove from the same family as Our Connor, the bay is competent stayer with more than adequate reserves of speed and he should prove well capable of slotting in over distances in the region of two miles six furlongs with another season under his belt.’
